It is with great pleasure and a deep sense of responsibility that I extend my greetings to you all as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Governors of Garrison Academy Kharian Cantt. It is truly heartening to witness the remarkable journey of this institution as it continues to scale new heights of educational excellence and character development.
Garrison Academy has evolved into a distinguished seat of learning, standing tall on a sprawling 42-acre campus that hums with the energy and aspirations of over 4,300 young minds. The sheer scale of our operations—with approximately 300 dedicated teachers and more than 100 administrative staff members—reflects the trust that parents and the community have reposed in us. From the playful curiosity of our Pre-School learners to the focused ambition of our 2nd Year and O Level III students, every stage of academic development is carefully nurtured within our fold.
What makes Garrison Academy truly unique is its inclusive yet specialized structure. The coexistence of the APSACS and Cambridge (APSIS) streams, running parallel across our Junior, Middle, and Senior Schools (with separate sections for Boys and Girls, as well as dedicated Cambridge Junior, Middle, and Senior Schools), ensures that every child finds a pathway that suits their aptitude and aspirations. This diversity within unity is our strength, fostering an environment of mutual respect and academic richness.
I have had the privilege of observing firsthand the transformative impact of our holistic educational philosophy. Beyond the classrooms and laboratories, I have seen our students shine on diverse platforms—debating competitions, sports arenas, scientific Olympiads, and cultural exchanges at both national and international levels. These exceptional achievements are not mere coincidences; they are the fruit of a carefully cultivated ecosystem that encourages excellence in every field. When our students bring home laurels, they carry with them the name of Garrison Academy and Pakistan, and for that, we are immensely proud.
To our faculty, I say this: you are the true heroes of this institution. In an age where information is abundant but wisdom is scarce, you guide our students to discern, to question, and to grow. Your commitment to nurturing not just scholars but good human beings is the cornerstone of our success. To our administrative staff, your silent dedication ensures that the wheels of this vast institution run smoothly every single day.
As Vice Chairman, my focus remains firmly on the sustainability and continuous improvement of our academic and infrastructural standards. We are committed to providing an environment where tradition meets modernity—where students are grounded in their cultural and spiritual values while being prepared to thrive in a rapidly changing global landscape. Discipline, integrity, and excellence remain the non-negotiable pillars of our institutional character.
I also wish to acknowledge the pivotal role played by our Principal, Professor Dr. Syed Waqar Ali Rizvi, whose academic vision and leadership have been instrumental in steering the academy toward its current trajectory of success. Under his guidance, and with the unwavering support of our Chairman, Major General Bilal Mahmud, Garrison Academy is poised for even greater accomplishments in the years ahead.
To the parents and guardians, I offer my heartfelt appreciation. You are our partners in this sacred mission of tarbiyah (nurturing) and taleem (education). Your trust and collaboration fuel our determination to provide nothing but the best for your children.
